Two months

We stay in year round, but mine is down for a couple of months doing maintenance. Looking forward to a fun summer season.

I usually look to uncover it on, or around, mid to late March. Then I try to go in when the kids are out of school for the Easter break.

love the river in the spring and all the things floating around that you have to watch for. You never know what might come bobbing down the river

We get to do this every time they change the level of the lake.

We are looking to uncover either March 15 or April 1. Depending on how much of the white stuff we are having.. Anyone want some of the stuff.... we are getting another foot today. Dam groundhog... 6 more weeks.... uuuuggggh

We start the spring prep work in late march early april, and go when we are ready, engine stuff, wash buff and wax, other minor maint. or add on's and we are off! Of course this depends on weather and work schedule. This year may be different as I am designing a home I plan to build in GA soon.

I cant believe yesterday was groundhog day and we haven't even seen winter yet this year in Florida. I have a feeling the summer is going to be brutal.

Just a heads up. IN Georgia you have to pay ad velorum property tax on a boat every year like its a house. I would consider Florida instead. Better boating and no unfair tax.

Open the seacocks and I'm ready to go! Late March or early April.

I know about the tax, from which I understand is not to oppressive. That said I am not a fan of that type of personal property tax, but somehow they get you either way, lower taxes in one area and higher in another. I already own the property and it is on Clarks Hill Lake, so I'm kinda invested in the place already. You make a good point though.

Where do you keep your 340 Do Over? We are at Kellys Port

According to some pictures I saw on Facebook, the local islanders are marking the "ice road" this weekend so they can drive back and forth from Marblehead to Kelleys Island across the ice. They use old Christmas trees to mark the thickest ice, and then drive cars back and forth. Safe to say we're looking at May 1 at the earliest around these parts.

Snowmobiles and ice fishing.....??

I don't know how you guys do it. It was 75 here in the Sacramento area and I'm spending the weekend on the boat.

Snowmobiles and snow blowers are two things I hope I never have to own.
