We stay in year round, but mine is down for a couple of months doing maintenance. Looking forward to a fun summer season.

love the river in the spring and all the things floating around that you have to watch for. You never know what might come bobbing down the river
We start the spring prep work in late march early april, and go when we are ready, engine stuff, wash buff and wax, other minor maint. or add on's and we are off! Of course this depends on weather and work schedule. This year may be different as I am designing a home I plan to build in GA soon.
I know about the tax, from which I understand is not to oppressive. That said I am not a fan of that type of personal property tax, but somehow they get you either way, lower taxes in one area and higher in another. I already own the property and it is on Clarks Hill Lake, so I'm kinda invested in the place already. You make a good point though.Just a heads up. IN Georgia you have to pay ad velorum property tax on a boat every year like its a house. I would consider Florida instead. Better boating and no unfair tax.
Where do you keep your 340 Do Over? We are at Kellys Port
