I never have figured out how to use my synchronizer on my 1997 400SB. I do not have a manual to refer to. It was the stock/original single control arm per engine with rocker switch on electrical panel to activate. Help me if you can....I seem to be blind to the procedure that makes it synchronize.

Press rocker switch and listen for it to engage (click).In neutral push starboard throttle a all the way up making sure the starboard engine doesn't rev.Use port throttle to power up both engines ( only in open water as you have no independent engine steering ).
When slowing down make sure you are at idle and pull starboard throttle down to idle position. Then and only then push rocker switch to disengage. Resume control with both engines.
