Have an '03 DA and want to remove the Galley TV. I've read the black trim to te refrigerator cabinet can be pried up to slide the TV out once the screws holding it have been removed. How complicated is this and will the trim fit properly when replaced?

I've got a 2000 380 that I changed the TV out above the refrigerator. If I remember correctly, that black vinyl trim piece has the plastic pins in them to hold it to the base. Make sure there are no screws holding it and take a putty knife, or small screw driver to pry it up. They should stay in the trim when you remove the trim piece. I think the 110V power cord from the TV had some plastic clips holding the wire to the bulkhead near the 110V receptacle so that the plug would not fall out of the receptacle. I think the receptacle was located below that shelf and the frig plugged in to it too. The TV should be fastened to a piece of plywood that is screwed in to the shelf. The TV can be removed with the plywood on it. There should be plenty of antenna wire to slide the TV out too. I'm pretty sure I put a small extension cord from the receptacle up to the shelf for the new TV. I fastened the extension cord to the bulkhead at the receptacle and at the base of the back of the TV to keep it from moving and coming out of the receptacle.

If you haven't already changed that refrigerator out yet, you'll then see what I'm talking about. lol I had to replace mine and I put a Vitrifrego frig in, what an improvement, but that's another story.

If you have any other questions about the boat, I might be able to help out. Everybody on this site is really good about helping and sharing knowledge.

Great boat, you'll really like it!!!!

There's a thread here that details the process with pictures. Google will work for finding it.

I just removed my Galley TV on my 2003 DA. I tried prying up on the trim and found out that it is screwed from underneath. I pulled the fridge out some and got the wife to hold it while removing the screws, trim, then the TV.
