Have a 1998 21' searay express cruiser. Going to install a small 19-22" tv. Would I have to run a separate wire for power directly from battery? Thanks

I would probably try to pick up power from the fuse panel first before running a line from the battery. That line has to be fused anyway. There is sometimes a space on your existing panel that isn't being used. You can usually get ground from under the dash too.

So if I have a space in the fuse panel I can grab power from that empty space? I assume I'll be able to tell better when I look but I guess it not too difficult to connect a new wire at that space?

Thanks

Yes, you can grab power from the empty space. The power wire will probably connect to the fuse panel with a ring terminal on the end of it. Make sure you put the appropriate size fuse in that empty space.
Make sure you have a 12 volt test light available. They are cheap, and one of the most often used tools in my boat tool box.

duplicate.....
