I also have a small 12V powered computer onboarding that runs PLEX server. So I have my entire movie/tv collection onboarding that can be streamed to any of the TVs or wirelessly to any device like an iPad. Might be an option.
You can buy a $200 nvidia shield and run it as a PLEX server. Only downside of this is you need to pre plan what your going to watch and have it on a disk/USB drive
