Tune up! What do I need?

Hello everyone,

I have 1996 7.4 EFI/MP motors and would like to do a tune up on them. They are running a little rich and have been told the Map sensors are most likely the culpret. However my cruising speen has been droping and so I am thinking about doing the tune up.

So what type of plugs and wires do I need? What is the gap? Is there any thing I need to do to replace the Map sensors other than unplug the old and plug in the new?

Any other suggestions On things I need or should do?

never replaced my MAP sensors...

I have 1700 hours on my engines. I have done the following
Change plugs. Took one out and took it to auto dealer and got new ones
Changed distributor cap and inside rotor. Took old ones to Merc dealer and he gave me the same. I purchased inside sensor pickups but never put them in.
Changed coils Merc deal sold me what I needed. Probably not required but felt it was a good idea.I now have 2 pair used ones.
Changed all plug wires.
Did not but probably should do some day
Set timing. Starts well and does not use any more fuel than it did when I got boat at 600 hours
Adjust carbs or have them rebuilt. One mechanic told me at 1400 hours they were fine and not to touch them
