How tight should they be? Mine look like they may wiggle loose. Also, the brass support popped off on. I had to bend it then re-crimp it.
Tubes wiggle at the pump.

My tabs pump/fluid reservoir has two brass nipples and the hoses are harder plastic, like speedometer tube. The plastic tubes move a little on the nipples. No obvious leak, but it looks like it could.

How old is the system? By brass supports do you mean the tube bending clips?
The compression nuts for the tubing has a brass ferule inside of it so it is normal that they seem a bit loose. Do not tighten unless there is a leak.

1999 system and yes, the brass supports in place to maintain the bend.
