Bit of a "camera angle thing". Boat's 1.3 ton, trailer 0.5 ton and the car 2.2 ton (32valve V8). Having said that, it's just legal but there's only a couple of saloon cars in this country that'll tow two tons and petrol is about $8 a gallon (diesel's the same). The government play the "envirnomental card" as an excuse to screw you into the ground if you go for a big 4x4 and I do around 30k miles a year so the running cost and maintanance bills for of one of those would be prohibitive.
I convinced myself that the Jaguar is the "practical compromise"......:grin:
