Trouble with 200 4.3 motor

I'm new to SeaRay, but the 4.3 motor is overheating. I'm told it's either a damaged or clogged impeller.
Does someone have a diagram of where it is.
I believe it is attached to the back of the water pump.
If so... how long to fix?
I am a fairly advanced wrench.

What year?

Depends on what drive you have. Alpha = in the lower gearcase. Bravo = raw water pump mounted on front of engine (not circ pump).

What year? Do you have the one piece cast iron manifold?

What water type are you in? I'd start with water pump & thermostat.
