I have a sea ray 210, 2000 EFI, when I turn the key over the motor will just make one click/dink sound, I do this about 10-15 times then the motor will turn over. Does this sound like a bad starter or a bad solenoid???
If you are still interested, it could be weak batteries, poor connections, bad solenoid or starter. There are a number of issues related to the above items. First have the batteries load tested, when in doubt replace them to help avoid being stranded. Then clean your cable connections at the battery and all the way back to the starter.
If everything else checks out then you can bypass the solenoid by jumping this to see if it is the solenoid.
