Tripping fuse on the main engine

Hi
I am trying to start my port engine after having sat dormant for nearly a year. I have replaced all the batteries and cleaned all connections. When I engage the switch into the first position everything is normal. When I press to start the main breaker on the engine appears to be tripping. I checked the starter which is fine and shorted the starter to see that it's getting powered. I am assuming that I have a short somewhere. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might start looking?

I resolved this problem. It was not the main breaker but rather the secondary solenoid. I replaced it and all is well.
