Hey all,

Headed to Evanston in a few weeks to watch the Bucks take on north western. We plan to swing by Wrigley field and our hotel is by O'Hare. My group wants cChicago deep dish so what is our best options with the locations mentioned.. We want some great pizza. Also, there is 10 of us who can we make reservations with to not have to wait for hours as this will be a day trip.

thanks all,

To get our Chicago deep dish pizza fix.

We order from here. http://www.tastesofchicago.com/category/Lou_Malnatis_6_Pizzas

Uno's. Packed and probably a wait to get in but well worth it.

Downtown Uno's and Due's do not take reservations. Lou Malnati's is just northwest of O'Hare 1050 w. Higgins in Elk Grove Village.

We have friends that live near O-Hare. They are Deep Dish fanatics. Their favorite is
Gino's East Pizza on Higgins

I second Gino's east.

My first choice by far - http://www.loumalnatis.com/

A distant second - http://www.ginoseast.com/

I am from the area and there are numerous local places but those are the best name brands. While you are there get an "Italian Beef, wet with Giardiniera" (make sure there is an "Vienna Beef" sign). If you don't make mess eating it you are not doing it right. :smt038

Jason, Quit licking your computer screen  and tell us......

What one are you going for. :smt001

#1 Giordano's, #2 Gino's East...

We ended up going to Gino's East. Fantastic pizza and highly suggest the Chicago fire. We ordered three for our group and that was my favorite. Also, the Italian Beef with Giardiniera all I can say is WOW. Fantastic stuff. The Ohio State vs Northwestern Game was one heck of a good show. Kept us on our feet the entire time. Love the part of the city that we actually got to see on our short trip. Thanks again all for the tips and It was all good.

Jason

i'm glad you got to see the game, it must have been great. Go Bucks! I heard NW moved away from standard pricing of all games the same and tickets were quite expensive even at face value. How did you get you tickets. From the look of the stadium, it looks like the " make every game a home game" theme was well played in Evanston. We did the Cal game and there was more OSU than Cal!

We got lucky with the tickets. My company bought them and sent us out there. We had a blast. The tickets had a face value on them of $26 but who knows. There were guys everywhere buying and selling tickets it was crazy. It was one heck of a game that is for sure I was glad that I got to see it. I guess they decided we had so much fun they are going to send us to Minnesota next year to watch the bucks play!

Wow, what a great perk, your company is great. How do they award the tickets?
