Ditto... I was just looking at this and wondering the same, so we probably aren't the only ones. Since I store mine hi & dry, I'm also interested in the auto up feature.

There are a fews guys around here with the smart tabs and they love them. For the 280DA I would think you want adjustable tabs.

I am a happy Smart Tab user, I will agree with Having fun that for the 280 you probably want adjustable tabs. I installed the Stainless version of Smart Tabs on my boat several years ago and once properly adjusted they are great. They do everything advertised, at least for me. Better ride in the rough waters of the sound, stay on plane at slower speeds, 14 to 15 mph with full load of people and beach equipment, before I had to stay about 20, use less gas, I have a standard run from my house to the beach, with tabs I am saving close to 2 gallons per trip, low speed wander is gone, checked that on a lake with no current and about 1/2 mile idle to marina, slight breeze from Starboard finally moved me slightly to Port, straight as could be otherwise. Great product with great support. If you call them you may very well get John, the owner, own the phone. There have been a few things with the new SX tabs and any problem that has happened has been taken care of quickly and they have studied the problems and made several design changes to take care of them on the current product. Would I buy another set, yes I would.
