trim tab question

hey guys, 320 2006 sundancer
how do i figure out what position the trim tabs are currently in ?
i have looked seemingly through every screen on the smartcraft and cant find it...
tried playing with them on plain and short bursts of either 4 tab doesnt seem to do much ...

I have smartcraft as well. Smartcraft does not report trim tab position. It will report drive position. You can add a trim tab indicator. I have debated this and found that the position really doesn't mater since I am always using them to adjust the running attitude. Whenever I come off plane I just make sure to retract them so I know I am starting in that position. Mid you were going to spend the time and money on an indicator I would just get the auto controller.

There are no indicators. I find this very frustrating. My previous boat had indicators and I found them very useful.

You should be getting an indication that the tabs are working when you activate them. It the boat's attitude doesn't change significantly, they probably need to be checked.

320 owner here also and there is no indicator. I played with them in the slip and know by counting how long they take to full down position. I use that method and what I want from the boat to adjust.

I have never felt the need for one.

The 320 tabs are to small from the factory. Install larger tabs for better performance.
