Hi Guys

I'm having a problem with my indicators for my trim tabs and drives. How do you adjust the inicators so they match what the drives and trim tabs are doing?:smt021

Thanks for the info!:smt100

BTW I have a 29ft Power Quest with 454 MPI's and Bravo 1's

Are they Bennett Trim Tabs?

Are you talking about the factory trim gage on the dash? If so that indicates the angle of the outdrive relative to the bottom of the boat. That gage is controlled by one of the round black plastic pucks on the side of the transom housing. They can be adjusted by loosening the screws and slightly rotating the plastic housing. These things have a bad reputation of not being very relaible and are a bear to replace. The other puck is the trim limit switch that prevents the outdrive from being trimmed out too far. I'm not sure which one is which without my manual in front of me. Check first before adjusting anything.

when looking at the drive, the puck on the right side is the trim indicator. The one on the left is the trim limit.

I took my trim indicator sender apart last weekend and found a broken brush/contact. I soldered it back together and we'll see if it works. Unfortunately I can't tell until I get her back in the water. My trim indicator on the helm was showing full up all the time and would intermittently work.

Two screws hold it to the drive and are what you loosen to calibrate it with, the 4 screws hold the cover over the sender which is sealed with an o-ring.
