From everything I’ve been reading on forums, it sounds like I have a bad solenoid on the up/out trim ,before I pull out my waste holding tank and suction tank to access the solenoid I was wondering if anyone had any info on the best solenoid to put back in, I don’t care how much I just don’t want to have to do this again , Thank you

Has anyone ever used ARCO brand solenoid's ? Their HD ones might be the ticket because I am hoping I never have to replace these again, it's been quite challenging on a 9' beam w/twin engines.
I noticed the mercury ones are made in Mexico now :(

Here’s a picture of the inside contacts on both solenoid’s
One was still working, one worked
most of the time ..
Just posting for info sake, I think I will change the 2 on the port side pretty soon

The arco HD solenoids have the main screws/contacts molded in as part of the case unlike the other one which have the extra nut. They also have extra contact area inside. If you can get a hold of a catalog they have a cutaway picture of one and I called arco and talked to one of their techs. I use the HD ones now when ever I have to replace one as I had 2 of 4 regular ones go bad last year, one was trim and one on starter slave.
