I was on the boat yesterday and notice the outdrive would not go up or down with the switch on the shift lever or the trailer button. I do get a clicking sound from both solinods though. I ran a jumper wire from the battery to both the up and down wires from the pump and got no movement from the motor. I am assuming that the trim pump motor needs to be replaced. Does this sound correct, or am I over looking something else? And, can I replace the motor only, or do I need to repalce the whole pump assembly?
