I am looking to remove some of the interior trim panels - specifically the ones with the funky princess mirrors and vinyl covering. The fasteners are hidden. I am guessing they are the plastic barb type fastens (or christmas tree fasteners as we in the auto industry call them). I was wondering if anyone out there has removed these panels and if so - any tips on how they are actually attached and tools best suited to removal without colateral damage. :huh:Any tips appreciated.

Merry Christmas!!

I removed a few of the side combing about my forward berth. There were surprisingly few connectors. Mostly they were held on with a screw on each end. On each end of what you want to disconnect, pry back the vinyl covering a bit and you may see a screw going in at an angle. This was really all it was for mine. I had to run a new spot-light wire from bow to stern so had to remove everything. This is what I found. Hope it helps!!!

Thanks Redhook - I will be up at the boat over the holidays and will have a close look at the panels......hope it is that easy.
