trim:no power, noise...nothing

I have no power, noise or anything when I push trim button. I have push circuit reset in engine compartment and followed inline fuse(red wire) and no luck. Help...

Any chance there is a circuit reset button behind the dash? I realize it is a different boat, but on my '95 215ec there was one there that was tricky to find.

I push the trim button and nothing...no noise, power. I have pushed the circuit reset in engine compartment, and checked fuse(red wire fuse, inline) and nothing.

If I recall correctly, it was a little black body with a white button sticking out that had to be pushed back in. Took me 3 hours to diagnose that problem a few years ago...

Sometimes the motor will lockup if you hit something in the water with a tab. If you are getting power to the motor (you'll have to check) then it might just be jammed. I've been told there are ways to free it up, but I've never tried it or seen it done so I won't mention it.
