Hi All;
I have a new-to-me 2006 220 Select, 5.0, bravo 3 with 120 hours. The trim works well but the gauge response is sluggish. The needle moves in the correct direction but is slow to react, then swings wildly past the intended point then comes back. It shows full up and full down ok but the subtle movements in the middle while underway don't seem to be accurate. Same for the number on the smart gauge.
Can i repair the senders, or do they need to be replaced. I've read i have to remove the drive to replace the senders, is that correct?
