trim cylinder hose fitting leak

Hi I replaced my trim cylinder hoses now i have very small leakage at some of the fittings .I tighten one the the other one leaks.I am afraid to over tighten ,please help thanks Dave 1999 express 215

Try taking them off and make sure there isn’t any dirt on the flare.

Also you could retighten them with the hoses rotated slightly to alter the position of the mating surfaces.

Take a good look at the flare mating surface's. You might have buggered them up. Clean the threaded area so they go in all the way
