I just spent Two days down this hole of pain and suffering replacing an AC unit. I was never one for reparations for past mistakes…. But I changed my mind…someone needs to be held accountable for this gross injustice of design, engineering, approval, manufacturing and ultimately the President at the time… they should be fired now where ever they are …… if the damn triangle is a frickn window to see what’s broke call it that…. Other wise just leave it a sheet of plywood.

I never swore more at Searay this weekend in my life….. someone needs to be held accountable ….and what’s with the 1,000 screwed in wire ties….Jesus phuckn Christ !!!

I’ll post this shit show in the 420 Sundancer thread….. once I calm down

I sure wish I had that amount of room when replacing the starter. After getting stuck under the port motor and getting a cramp in my back, as well as being stuck for over an hour until the wife came out and asked if I was ok. I was more than prepared to give up life at that moment. I was even praying for my death to be swift and well, forget painless. It was well worth paying a kid to come finish the job.

She's tight captain!

What is it this year with A/C units going out. I know of three others in the past few weeks who've lost a unit...none if them fun to install.

Funny, was just talking with an engineer yesterday at a local beach about our boat yesterday. Told him If I found the SeaRay engineer who designed the battery location on our 310 I'd hang the SOB from the highest tree and leave his carcass there as a warning to other engineers. Behind the starboard fuel cell out side the starboard motor. Gotta tear the boat apart to get to them. No more yearly PIA service though as last weekend I swithed them out to AGMs. Ironically our AC unit would be an easy swap as it's under th v-berth.
