Transome seat gas shock

2009 330 DA transome seat is missing one of the gas shocks. There a 2 of them, a short one and a long one. I need the long one. I found a parts number, #1964580. its 30 PSI, 26.9" extended and 15.2" compressed. I cant find a match. and help would be great.

The part number you found is a Sea Ray part number - internal to Sea Ray. You can get that gas spring from a dealer or look around at various spring manufacturer's like Ameritool or Attwood and match it up. Take a look at the shorter one - there should be some manufacturer ID info on it. FYI, you don't NEED to have one the same manufacturer as the original one - just don't get a cheapy one because it will rust or fail in short time.

this one is slightly longer compress and extended and slightly stronger. I'm sure slightly stronger is ok but length is probably not gona work

Don't look at retailers - go to the manufacturer websites. Start with the manufacturer that's listed on the shorter one or try the ones I mentioned.

Boom! got it. Can't find the stainless version but i'll try this for now.
