Transom Radio Controls & Trim Switch....

Can't find this thread....I know I saw it somewhere:huh:

Whats the difficulty to do this mod? I would like to add this to my deck over the winter or early spring.
Is it possible to add the stereo controls too? I knwo the thread for the trim switch seemed fairly straightforward.

The radio controls are easy. You need a Clarion Remote (assuming you have the Clarion stereo), a remote extension cable, ground and remote power leads, and a hole saw. If you have another remote, you will also need a y cable.

Wish to fish is right... One of mine broke and I had good success with getting one from ebay.

Awesome.....I assuem the Merc switch for the trim is the same scenario...ebay and the like or just Merc dealer?

looks like a simple install......just mount and run cable to back of unit....If anyone has pics of their install would be great!
I imagine all there is to it is running the cable through stern and engine compart ment up the starboard gunwale to the back of the helm....
