Transom Locker Clips for Boat Hook - 260 Sundancer

Another minor item, but thought I mention. I added these clips to the transom locker for the flag pole and another set for the boat hook.

The flag pole (and socket) came with the boat. It's an option from SR.

And I learned this week it's also magnetic at the base, I think to help it stay in place.

If the pole has a magnetic base, than there would have to be some type of Ferrous metal at the base receiver. Wouldn't that be prone to rust...??? :smt017

How did you attach the clips? If with screws, how long ? Looks like a great way to use storage...

Short/small screws. You could also gorilla glue or epoxy them in.
