Was on the boat this afternoon and gave the engine compartment the "once-over" and when I lowered the hatch (until motor(s) stopped) noticed the transom door would not close and there is a gap between top and bottom. Hinges are secure and if I raise the hatch a little bit, the door will close but it still "drags" at the top. I guess there could be some adjustment to the engine hatch rams but didn't have time to take a look. Anyone else ever have this issue?

If the boat is on the hard, that can sometimes cause that situation as the hull could be flexing inwards (buckling, so to say). Typically, this corrects itself once it's in the water.

Check the gap between the floor and hatch.

Check the hinge on the door - if it's a bit loose at the top it will cause that, too. Tighten the screws.

I have a similar issue and have found no way to completely align the door. It is one of the very few things that annoy me about this boat. While my door does not hit my latch goes out of alignment and I can hardly lock it in position sometimes. Based on the angle of the gap in mine (similar to yours) I don't think I could ever have that be a uniform opening.

As Lazy mentioned you can check the screws but I do agree with him regarding the flex on the boat and the hatch as I do notice from time to time that my latch seems to work better for no reason.

Since this happened after using the hatch I would also check to make sure that the hatch is being pulled fully down and that there in not something small wedging it up someplace like a towel. I am not sure if there are any adjustments on the screw lifts.
