I didn't see anyone mention type of brakes. I towed a 2005 260 Sundancer for a couple of years from pa up to Canada and to the Midwest on quite a few occasions. Two things made the trip enjoyable.... A diesel 3/4 ton (Chevy if you don't know which one to pick) and electric over hydraulic disk brakes on each axle. These brakes made all the difference in the world... With surge there is a lag in stopping..which puts all the weight on your truck for a few seconds. With electric it is instantaneous... In traffic or a quick stop this makes an incredible difference... I would not consider trailering your boat without them...
