Trailer Trim Question

I was wondering if there is any increase of wear to the bellows or anything else from frequently using the trailer trim? The reason I am asking is that I have to use the trailer trim to clear my lift when backing my boat over my lift for overnighers. BTW the motor is off and I am hand pushing the boat into the slip not backing in with the power of the drive.

IMHO - Should not be a problem since you are not running the motor. Think of all the trailer boats that use it at least twice every time they boat.

As long as the bellows aren't old and stiff, and you aren't running the motor, no harm. Don't store with the motor in the trim position as they will take a set and then can increase the chances of them cracking when put down and run.
