Need some help here please.

Looking to by a Sea Ray EC215 that needs a trailer. Boat is 22', w/ a 8'6" beam.

What's the best trailer for, and what size trailer will I need for this boat ?

Dry weight is stated as 3,200lbs
Gross weight probably around 4,800lbs.

Thanks

I just noticed your post and am surprised nobody answered. If you're still in need of a trailer I think any tandem axle trailer with a GVW of 5700 lbs or greater would do. I usually just go to the trailer dealer and tell them what I've got and they sell me what I need. If you're buying used it's a bit different. As far as the length goes, find out what the trailer was used for previously if you're looking at used. I always like to use trailers that are a bit bigger than what I need, just to be on the safe side. For your boat I'd try to find one that fits 22' to 24'. And I always go with electric over hydraulic brakes. Way more control and no hassles when backing up. Good luck. Got any pictures?
