Nelson, I my OP your trailer is probably worth between $1500 and $1200 depending on axle ratings and over all condition of trailer. $500 looks a little light to me. Put it on Facebook Marketplace as well. Good luck, JC

Nelson you need to put in add what your axle ratings are and over all wt rating if listed.. It will be on the tongue most likely.

All that data has been eaten by the sun I know it towed my 4000 lb boat plus gear it has brakes and lights that work

Nelson, you can get that info by using your VIN - which would be on your registration card or your bill of sale. Then contact the manufacturer.

Alabama does not require a trailer to be registered I should be able to look it up from the AL bureau of motor vehicles but that will take a little while.

How many lugs and what size tires? That should help get a ball park figure.

Do you have a title? It should be there, too.

No title, either? Oh wait, that's right, it's Alabama where you can probably marry your 1st cousin in your backyard without a marriage certificate, as well... ;)

Good luck with the sale, though - $500 is certainly reasonable.

Lazy Daze that kind of post is just uncalled for!!!!!!!!!!!! Good night, he is just a fellow boater looking for some guidance. There is NO place on CSR for this type of derogatory comment-PEROID! As a TC I would hope you would set a better example than this. JC

JC, this was meant only and completely as a good-natured ribbing. There was absolutely no malice. I can guarantee that you read into this too much - although I do understand the premise of how it's sometimes hard to get the true meaning of what someone is "saying" with only words. But if you look back at my posts, I have never been derogatory towards anyone... never.

Nelson, I hope you received the intent of the message in the nature it was intended. And, again, good luck with the sale.

I'm not from here, originally from Indiana my parents were from KY. at my mothers family reunion a couple introduce themselves and the husband said "so I guess that makes us pretty close" lol they both could have attended the reunion BEFORE they got married. there is a reason why stereo types exist. I am not offended move along.
