On my trailer for my 215 weekender One of the bolts broke that holds the front bow bunks on the wedge shaped ones so it's turned about 20 to degrees forward from when I pulled the boat on the trailer. How do I lift the boat and 1/8 of an inch to push that back into position and redraw new holes and put in stainless steel screws through the trailer back up into the block of wood

This would be a great time for a pic.

You're right I'll get one after work

I'm not quite following what you're saying well enough, either - at least not to be able to talk about what's going on.

But I think this is the jist of it... "Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah... how do I lift the boat?" :) Is that about right?

You can use a regular floor jack under the keel with a piece of 2x4 oriented perpendicular to the keel so the wood doesn't split. Depending on how long you're going to be (and where your hands will be in relation to the boat/bunk), you can set it down onto a jack stand for more security.

If you just need to raise the front slightly, put a floor jack or a bottle jack under the keel with a piece of wood on it and slowly raise the boat to the level you need. You may need to or likely will need to hook up the hitch as the entire trailer may want to raise with it.

Dennis hit reply before I did....

Yes raise bow keel to put new screws on the trailer one bolt rusted and broke and keel pad is crooked

Yes not even really raise it just take pressure off so I can tap keel pad straight and put new screws though the rail and into wood

I have a 2 speed winch. So put in low and just crank up a little bit more. That would be awesome. Only need less than a 1/4 inch

I read that wrong I understand what you're saying thanks man appreciate it
