TracVision M1 Setup 44 sedan bridge

I recently bought a 2007 44 sea ray sedan bridge and it was equipped with the Direct Tv and the Tracvision M1 Satellite dome. Everything was working well at the previous owner's dock. After bringing it home to our marina it didn't seem to work anymore. The previous owner was saying something regarding calling Direct Tv to switch owners or whatnot but I didn't quite pick up on what he was saying haha. Any idea on how to get this system up and running again? I have a Direct TV access card that came with everything when I bought it.

Like the P.O. said, call direct tv. I have heard of some people telling them it was for their R.V. You may want ask the P.O. how he had it registered.

I think you are going to find that procuring a new tuner and card and setting it up as an extension to your home DTV account will be easiest. If I remember correctly I got a HR24 DVR tuner, card, and registration instructions from Solid Signal. DTV charges around $7/month for the additional service. Be aware also that High Definition is not available with your M1 so some channels will not be available.

Had a similar situation when I bought my boat last year. DIRECTV will not turn on those receivers. They will want you to get brand new ones and a contract.... I said no thank you

I thought about transforming my M1 dome into something like this. Have not used it since I purchased the boat 5 years ago.
Much easier to live stream off phone or Wifi at marina.
