Tough commute today.

Ok today here in Seattle we are anticipating record heat of 100 or near there so I decided that I would commute by boat to work. I live in Marysville WA which is 30 miles north of Seattle.
Everett to Seattle
I trailered to Everett WA, 20 minutes from home, launched and at 6:20AM it was 74 degrees and absolutely calm water :thumbsup:

Before you feel too envious.......3/4 of the way in the USCG stopped me and asked if I have had a safety inspection in the last 6MOS. :smt013 I said no, and they said "well we're going to board you then and perform one to make sure everything is in good order"

Hey no big deal after all, glad I passed.
I'll get my stuff done at my desk today and then get back out in the bay to follow up with some e-mails :smt024 or posting here....then have a nice cruise home :smt038

It is a great commute especiallyt with this heat.
The inspection took 15 minutes.
Now a guy just came with his wife to the marina looking to buy our boat and they're going to make an offer this afternoon. :smt089

Riverrat- for what it's worth my lawn is 8" tall and drying quickly since I've been gone so much lately :thumbsup:
Boating takes priority this time of year.

Right now, I'm on the laptop in between the sleeper seats at Pier 66 on the Seattle Waterfront.
Just finished the bid I was working on, so I think it's time for a boat ride, right?
