Tohatsu 8hp low water flow

We were out running around in the dinghy this past weekend and i noticed that the cooling water flow was not the usual jet/stream of water as last season. The power of the stream is the same at WOT as it is at idle (little more than a trickle). Wondering it its a a clog, impeller or pump. Any thoughts as to where to start my troubleshooting?

Try pushing something into the outlet hole. I use a small gauge wire. Sometimes its salt build up

Didn't feel it for temp but the impeller is on its 3rd season.

I use a wire tie to unclog mine........................

I had a similar problem with my 6hp yammy. I just held a hose on the outlet and back flushed it - cleared it in seconds.
