Todd Boat Seats

Has anyone ever purchased or used one of these seats for their dinghy? They seem kind of heavy but look pretty handy.

A buddy of mine has that seat in his 10'6" WM RIB - Its great - he primarily bought it to keep his battery in (electric start 15hp) but other stuff fits too
