too late for this year, but next year I’m going to haul in DE where services are more readily available.

Honestly I've thought the same. My marina takes so long to wrap the boat and you can't bring in your own people. Have been on the hard since early November waiting to be wrapped. By the time they wrap the boat i get 8 to 10 weeks before I'm unwrapping. in past years I've gone down and cleared the snow from the foredeck to keep it from thawing and refreezing. Incredibly annoying i know but preference would be to wrap but if you do the math in my case not worth it.

Get a pro. Use blue wrap. DRY dry dry the bilge before wrapping. Ventilate, ventilate, ventilate. Then buy some mold cleaner.

Back in the day the aficionados said wrapping was the devils chore. Grandpa said canvas was the only option. Personally, I'll pay the piper for indoor heated storage. But then again if my boat is not pristine it'll be sold.

Good Resource to start with

Big trick is always keep the gun moving so you don't damage the hull or put a hole in the shrink wrap. If you do put a hole in the wrap no problem that is what the tape is for, only has to last 3-5 months and doesn't need to be sexy.
Although if you do it just right, you can reuse the shrink wrap. We are on our 2nd year reusing. Just isn’t exactly super tight, but as long as it’s protection from the elements, it’s all good.

Guys not from cold weather country he asking for info so lighten up a little.
He also said he’s in cold and wintery northeast. At least that’s what I read in his original post.

I pretty much go by what GypsumJim said. And along with what we said hang a couple damp rid bags in the boat. It’s unbelievable how much they’ll suck up!

Preservation of a boat of that quality should be priority as well as maintaining resell value.

I do everything I can to preserve and keep her in pristine condition.

There are enough conditions working against us in season, winter time it is at rest and protected from the elements.
