I read a few forums on broken horns out there. If you don't have the money to spend on an expensive air horn, Autozone sells the exact electronic horn that SeaRay factory installs for under 20.00.

I found the same one that Sea Ray installs too, and for just 6.99. Beat that! http://www.tricyclekids.com/Dimension-Duck-Horn.proI read a few forums on broken horns out there. This was a great tip.. The screw on top of their horn is not the same size, but can easily modify the bracket mounting hole to accommodate. Horn works great.I read a few forums on broken horns out there. I was out last week cruising up the river when a small boat cruised past us on the port side. As we approached a point, the little boat started pinching me off, so i gave him a short toot on the horn, he didn't hear it, then longer, and longer... still never heard it. My horn works fine, but it is somewhat directional as it is on the starboard side of the bow. When you consider how much noise there is when travelling faster than an idle in a boat, it really is inadequate. I bought an air horn... Next time, I'll be heard...
