I can sure be sarcastic & cynical (but I like that kinda humor) - I know it's not for everyone

Compared to duck hunting boards this is mild

Maybe a sarcasm (roll eyes) smilie would help ?

If it was all Sea Ray all the time - I doubt it would be as busy

But I understand the goofiness is for the Holding tank

But many times the humor would be lost in there, if not in a topic

It is true that there is little margin for error on this site. But that's what's cool about forums. You can agree or disagree and have the right to post your thoughts. Not everyone is going to agree with you and some might be a bit ruthless in their response but it's a FORUM. I've had my ass handed to me a couple of times when I was wrong about something and had it coming. I have also expressed thoughts to others when I thought they were out of line as well. SO WHAT! You wade through the BS, take what's important to you and privately class the rest of us as juvenile delinquents.

Boats are toys. We are a bunch of grown up kids who aren't ready to stop playing and boating is fun. Yeah its work and its expensive....but its still fun. For me, I love boating and have for over 50 years. I get on this site several times a day because its part of boating and I think this is fun as well. Cruel somtimes?? Maybe. But certainly not the way you have interpreted it.

In most things in life you have 2 choices...work within the system or move on down the road. You made the right choice. For yourself and those of us that choose to still be a kid and play.

I have a side note here. I personally feel you started tis post to get some attention. You state you will not be back but you have generated over 3 pages of reponses. I'm betting you've read every one twice. Enjoy.

Somehow I am oddly reassured that a biker site is more rowdy than our Sea Ray site!:grin:
 
OK, it's true. I wasn't going to admit it, but I was a bit fat and had a bit of a receding hairline before coming here. But to learn that I'm now a loser as well... that just puts me over the edge. I'm afraid I'm going to do something to hurt myself-
 
I was hoping that keeping my head shaved would not only hide the fact that I am bald but that the reflection off that head would blind everyone so they would not see the fat parts, :grin: now I find out that not only am I bald and fat but I am a loser too. All I can say is what a great bunch of losers we have here.:lol: Lets go start something. :smt101 On a somewhat serious note Mr The W.A.V.E. you are not going to find anyplace better than this one. wow - I skip logging on last night and I missed this???

Let me make sure I have it right - a thread which didn't have anything to do with w.a.v.e. got him upset enough to leave... ok - I'm caught up now.....how come people can't filter through the things they don't want to read/see/etc? I think this stuff is funny - much better than work!
 
Heck, when I joined CSR I was an overweight 50 year old balding loser. Now after only 200 posts I've lost 20 years, dropped 100 lbs and my hair grew back...(paid actor, actual results may vary) :smt038
 
All this intellectual talk begs the question, "Is there such a thing as a skinny bald guy?"
