Tint?

i was looking at my boat...thinking bout tinting my windows...to give it that speed boat look...any pros and cons?

No. Big mistake especially if you do any boating at night. My boat came with tinted windows. If you do any boating at night it is very hard to see out the windshield. I have to stick my head out the side to watch where I am going. I do not go out that much at night otherwise I would have taken the tint off.

Tinting distorts. You might not be able to see something floating low in the water because the tinting distorted your view. Bad idea.

I did the side windows but not the front. Helps keep some sun off you. Why anybody would tint the windshield is beyond me. It'd be like tinting the windshield an your car or truck.

I tinted the windows on my 195 and have had a lot of compliments. It does look really good but is hard to see but I usually look over the windshield anyway.

I'm considering it as well. Just as you stated, I'm up on my bolster 100% of the time looking over the windshield.

I had the windows done on my last bowrider and it was a huge mistake for all of the reasons already stated
