Hi all:
I have a 2008 350 (now called a 370) and the canvas and eisenglass has reached the end of its lifespan, the eisenglass is the main problem scratchy and cloudy. But also, the zippers are failing on many sections.
I'd like to replace them with new ones and will keep these old ones for use in the winter when we store it in the elements.
Has anyone done any price/quality comparisons of going aftermarket with say a canvas company verses ordering from Searay? I'd like the replacements to look professional and be rugged, etc.
Is there a better quality available verses the Searay canvases? I see a few of the non-Searay boats have some exceptional looking canvas and appears as if the eisenglass is much tougher and never seems to fade or cloud, one example are the Mainships brand.
If I'm going to spend the money, I want to get something that lasts and holds up to the sun, etc,. Any suggestions or company names, etc are most appreciated!
Thanks much!
