Well folks, I would like to thank all the club members who were and have had interest in my boat and I'm glad to say she went to an existing member of this club. Also thanks to all who were instrumental and helpful in the sale. The boat is going to a great guy who has been a member for some time but not as active as most. He actually has been interested for well over a year and was waiting for the right conditions to buy from me. Hopefully he will chime in sometime soon.

Its wonderful to say a club member helped me find my boat and sell my boat to a fellow club member.

I look forward in my search for a boat somewhere north of 53.99'

The boat seatrialed and surveyed out wonderfully and without issue.

Thanks again Frank, and to all the members who had any interest in her. And finally a thank you to my boat Saramee, for 4 great boating seasons! Good luck Kiwi!

After a busy few weeks in North America I managed to secure ownership of SARAMEE.

I cannot really pass any further comment at this point except to say that Dave was a great host and that Frank W was a great help.

She was too big for the scheduled vessel MV FIDELIO and is languishing at Baltimore waiting a larger ship MV TIJUCA.

All things being equal she will be in New Zealand waters on New Years day 2010.

If you need the services of a surveyor you cannot go past Charlie Gruetzner of Oceanis Marine Services Inc who gave me the confidence to complete the purchase. Thanks Charlie.

Charlie did things to the boat during his careful survey that had not been seen before at Norwalk Cove.

I would also like to mention that Jack Haigh of Fairfield CT was of invaluable service to me during my time in the US and I would highly recommend his services should anyone need a skipper. Thanks Jack.

The Marlborough Sounds awaits this fine vessel, the likes of which has not been seen here before.

Sweet looking boat. Lets see me pictures.

I know what SS stands for, what does SSS stand for?

Okay looked it up on Sea Rays site. Interesting side note. Sea Ray does not list a 97 580 SSS, but does list a 98 580 SUPER Sun Sport.

Cool garage, does it really work, is it big enough?

Very nice Dave.

What's the cruise speed on this one? If I remember GEriksen (SP) had one a short time ago.

Dave,

Congratulation's!! Beautiful boat, the shed that it is in looks like Russo Marines building in Boston? Are you able to fit that on A dock?
