We didn't get the 8 feet of snow that we were told to expect, but we did get 4 or 5 inches with a half inch of ice on top.

Here's my fun this morning. It takes a little while for the action to start...

Thats neat,i did about a foot at 6am and i am gearing up to do another 5-6 inches with 1-2 ft drifts .yea haaa haaahaaahaaaaaaaa

This was last night driving in to work (figured go in early). We've busted through a few 4' drifts with the big red truck to calls where we had consistent 2-3' drifts. 16 hours to go!

They are "Winter Celebration Lights"... they stay until the snow goes...

When I try to go that fast with my snow blower it kills the engine.

The way I see it is that if you're that smart that you can get a nice Sea Ray and a nice BMW, then you should be smart enough to find some way to get the hell out of that part of the world! :wink:

Of course, I'm so brilliant that I'm sitting at home for the third day with an iced over driveway that I doubt I'll be able to get up before Saturday. Here in Texas we just don't understand this stuff. :huh:

Nah, that was my 8-year old coming out to play in the snow...

We ended up with over 20" at O Hare we still have roads closed west of Chicago I would imagine that the same goes for Indiana and Wisconsin.
