Tiki bar ,Cape Coral Fl

Heard the Tiki Hut bar and motel is closing in Cape Coral , anyone know what is happening to it ? one my fav places off the water

Where is it in Cape Coral? I used to go down there for a week or so every February. My buddy lived over off Cape Coral pkwy. What a great feeling stepping off the plane and getting hit in the face with that humidity. Man I loved that! My buddy had a pool with the built in Hot Tub right on the canal. He had a 37 Silverton convertable at the time that we used to run out into the gulf down by sanibel & Captive islands. I miss those days!

Paradise Tiki hut is sw cape coral , off Del Prado and Miramar , its a outdoor , bar with a big tiki canopy over it with the real dumpy , motel next to it , whe your at the bar you over look the motel pool , the bar always had great tacos and burgers , , they used to have great bands at night , I do think maybe Leapin Lizard bar on Cape Coral Prky has taken alot of business from them , , both places are great though , I was just curious of the outcome of the property , possible high rise condos like every where else , or more homes , or maybe more shopping ? but like we really need anyof those things in this economy ,lol and yes I too love the humidity and heat , great boating , I wish i could live there full time

Once I pay-off my moms condo up here and my new business costs I'm turning my guns on Cape Coral/Ft. Myers and trying to buy a small house down there. My buddy has a house farther north in Punta Gorda Isles but that seems a little more costly. My friend who used to live in cape is now on Palm Island in a Gulf front home but, he will be moving as soon as he sells it. I don't think that will be too soon though judging by the market down there.
