Thunder on the narrows

I was planning on taking a day trip on June 27 or 28 to kent narrows to watch the racing. Has anyone gone before? Is it worth it to go by boat? can you see any racing and is there a area where boats drop hook?

Noone has ever been to Thunder on the narrows by water?

There will be a lot of boats anchored out by Hog Island and in Kirwan Creek. Get there early for the best views

Been there twice, Blue Yonder is right, get there by 11 AM. We anchored off Hog Island
