Hope all is well everyone, winter is here and boat is comfortably resting on dry dock. I’m looking to replace the through hull fittings that are both cracked on port and starboard stern for exhaust. One is my generator exhaust and the other is bildge pump. I have a 2001 Sea Ray Sedan Bridge 400. I can’t find a way to reach it in bildge without taking entire exhaust apart and generator exhaust as well. Is there a easier way to get to it? Has anyone changed theirs or upgraded to stainless? Thanks in advance.

This is one of them

I’m finding a lot of boat repairs/maintenance chores are for limber young men.. dang it.

This is one of them
Those are your cockpit drain thru hulls. The exhaust holes are molded out of fiberglass and gelcoat. I have replaced both sides on mine and another 400DB. I posted it in the 40 Sedan Bridge forum. I’ll try to find it and post the link here. But in general, on starboard side remove generator exhaust hose at muffler and generator battery and generator muffler. On port side remove back two batteries. Then crawl on your back into the corners. I replaced with marelon thru hulls. Will last forever. Sea ray used plastic and as you can see that cracks and splits over time.

Thank you, going to tackle that soon.

Would you happen to know the size needed for replacing? I want to use stainless
