On my 268 I have water weeping from the through hull transducer. I want to remove and reseal it. I've tried to get to it with a large adjustable wrench but it's not big enough for the nut size. I cannot get a pipe wrench to fit under the engine to the fitting.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or know the correct nut size and I can buy a open ended wrench to fit?

Many thanks, Bob

I have a very large pair of slip joint pliers I use for those type of jobs. Maybe someone has a better idea. Good luck

Put her on the trailer, dry the bilge out good, then mix up some West Systems epoxy and pour it around the transducer. Tape off the back side so the epoxy does not run out on the ground. I'd seal it in there permanently.

I would not use epoxy! This is something you or someone else will want to remove one day. Drilling a hole in the bottom of you boat because you epoxied in the transducer and con not get it out is silly. Get some channel locks and take it out, seal it with 3m 4200
