Does anyone know the mounting depth on the CH1700 series side mount shift control? Have a 88 sea ray s-24 and my control broke, put a used one from a same year model boat and it doesn’t work. So now I’m going for a new one all together.

I don't know if this is the actual unit you want but with a little looking online you can find stuff like this...
