Don't you remember the story from Disappearing Island about the couple that recently died on their boat at the island while running the gen. It wasn't a portable one like the one you have 'on the bow' so it was even set up for marine use, built in unit. Obviously they had a leak into the cabin and suffocated due to CO poisoning. Now you are putting the exhaust right next to the cabin windows/door. Don't you think that is a stupid thing to do? Is your life really worth it?

So let me get this straight...no generators at all?

The paranoia over generator use is unmatched to anything remotely boat related.

I'm not here to tell people what to do so forget it...I was just happy the dang thing worked right 1st shot. I've had a tough week and it was a relief.
