I think it missed my boat. This happened at 7:00 a.m. this morning. The boat next to mine just came in a few weeks ago, I don't know them yet so I can't contact them. And the marina is closed today. Looks to be a dredging boat, and they went right back to work after the impact.
 
Ouch...that's a pretty hard impact. I was sitting at my desk at home once and watched live as a dockmate hit my boat while docked. Not once or twice but three times. It was a freak thing but he called me immediately. We are still friends...lol
 
I am lucky in this case; the boat to my starboard sticks out further than mine, and so does the one that got struck.
 
They have been set up there all summer. What are they building? Is a new marina going in?
 
They're installing some floating slips in front of my boat. It's private property so I don't know the details. This morning they were dredging
