This is why I boat

Here's one of my all time favorites. Three little butts looking for a fish to bit on their bait.

Hillside, I like your boating waters. Four years ago we took our 13' Whaler from Bayview to Sandpoint, went into the hotel for lunch, then back to Bayview. What a gorgeous trip on beautifully flat, calm waters and a sunny day.

Here's another long time favorite of mine that I just found. This is my oldest grandson when he was six driving our boat. You can't see it, but about 1.5 miles ahead of him is a place where he has to make a course correction to stbd to pass between an island and the shore on the port side, then pass beneath a bridge. He nailed it, with just a couple of suggestions from me.

He's going to be a good skipper.

Grand kid pix are the best.

Have a friend who grew up on boats of all sizes including some big Hatts and Berts. Like your grandson, started piloting at a young age. Used to wash boats for spending money, and now is teaching his children to boat. He handles just about any sized boat now with ease. Nice skills to have.

The middle pic is very cool. Drone shot?

Thanks and yes it was. 50 footer had just passed me to port and I was moving through his wake which is why the splash is so big there.
